Tanvir Syed, MD – Medical Director
Tanvir Syed obtained his medical degree from Ponce Health Sciences University. He completed his residency training in neurology and fellowship in EEG and epilepsy at the Cleveland Clinic. He then worked for 13 years at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center with an academic appointment at Case Western Reserve University. He has published over 30 academic peer-reviewed articles and two book chapters in his specialty. In 2019, he transitioned to telemedicine with practice privileges in more than 20 states at over 100 hospitals.
Dr. Syed is fluent in four languages, has a passion for cooking and traveling, is a former kickboxer, and currently loves MMA.
Andrew Lapso, CNP
Andrew Lapso has been an orthopedic nurse for 14 years. He attended Bowling Green State University and the University of Toledo for his Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, and then attended Kent State University for his Master’s in Nursing and earned his Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner degree there.
Andrew spent the first 7 years of his career as an RN at a local Cleveland Hospital in the orthopedic surgery and vascular surgery department, caring for acute post-operative surgical patients. He spent the following 6 years as a nurse practitioner in the total joint replacement specialty. He has assisted in thousands of total knee and total hip replacement surgeries.
Andrew has a true passion for caring for people, especially in the orthopedic setting. Nothing makes him happier than making someone feel better and assisting in their healing and recovery. In his free time, he enjoys being in nature with his family and dog. He also enjoys creating many different types of art and riding his bike.
Dr. Lauchlin McKeigan – Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Lauchlin W. McKeigan is from Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia, Canada. He attended the University of Western Ontario, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Environmental Sciences as well as an Honours Standing in Ecology and Evolution. He graduated from the National University of Health Sciences (formerly called National College of Chiropractic) in Lombard, IL, with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2000.
His post-graduate education includes a certificate in Manipulation Under Anesthesia and Pain Management from both the American Academy of Manual and Physical Medicine and the University of Bridgeport, as well as Certification in Electrodiagnosis and Needle EMG testing from the National University of Health Sciences.
Dr. McKeigan has had a busy practice in Shaker Heights since 2003, where he treats numerous conditions such as low back pain, neck pain, mid-back pain, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, and shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and foot pain. He can test to see if someone has nerve damage by performing an NCV/EMG study. He has a spinal decompression table that is very effective in treating herniated discs in the low back and neck.
Dr. McKeigan treats work and car accident injuries. He also helps those who have major medical insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid. Dr. McKeigan takes a multidisciplinary approach to treating his patients and has a network of providers he refers to, including pain management, orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, and acupuncturists. He has a massage therapist on staff readily available for all patients.
Dr. Moumita Majee – Chiropractic Physician
Moumita Majee is a functional medicine practitioner who is a board-certified chiropractor in the state of Ohio. Dr. Majee is very passionate about healing her patients as well as educating the world regarding the human body’s natural ability to heal itself.
She believes that we have the potential to create it on our own. Hence, she empowers her patient with the knowledge of functional medicine and gives them the healing touch of Chiropractic so that they can take control of their own health.
Dr. Majee earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic. Currently, she is pursuing advanced training at the Institute for Functional Medicine. In this process, she will be able to broaden the services that she provides because of her dual training in chiropractic and functional medicine.
She is a busy mom and a loving wife who loves to cook authentic “ayurvedic” style Indian food for her family and travels in her spare time.
Dr. Merle S. Auck – Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Merle S. Auck, D.C., is a dedicated Chiropractic Physician with decades of experience providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. Serving the Shaker Square community in Cleveland, Ohio, and surrounding areas. Dr. Auck has been in active practice since 1998 and brings a strong clinical background combined with extensive experience in personal injury and work-related cases.
Dr. Auck specializes in full-spine chiropractic care using Diversified, Activator, Drop, Manual Flexion/Distraction techniques, and physiotherapy applications, along with customized therapeutic exercises and stretching programs. His clinical focus includes acute and chronic condition management, injury rehabilitation, and detailed health documentation, including C-92 forms and attorney/insurance reports. He is highly experienced in coordinating care related to personal injury and workers’ compensation cases, ensuring patients receive thorough evaluation, treatment, and proper medical reporting.
A graduate of Life University, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and Dean’s List honors, Dr. Auck also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bowling Green State University, also recognized with Dean’s List distinction. In addition to clinical practice, he has experience in practice operations, patient management, and healthcare administration.
Outside the office, Dr. Auck values health, fitness, and community involvement. He participates in running events ranging from 5Ks to half marathons, supports local school athletics, volunteers in the community, and promotes the importance of nutrition and exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle. He holds active licenses in Ohio, Georgia, and Pennsylvania.
